Hi, I’m Sue Hammond your local Travel Broker. I began my career in the travel industry as a consultant in 1989. As the industry diversified the ‘Travel Broker’ emerged. This was an exciting new concept and allowed me to work from home. Not without a few challenges of course, as back in the 90’s it was all faxes and phone bookings. It was a whole year before computer systems were developed enough to allow access from home to the worldwide reservations systems that is used in Travel Agencies.

In 2005 I heard that GO Holidays (Wholesaler) had its own Travel Brokers and was fortunate to be invited to join their team. The Travel Brokers and GO Holidays are now a part of Stella Travel Services, dedicated to providing support and administration to its 60 plus Brokers throughout New Zealand. All Brokers have been senior consultants and therefore have a world of experience within the travel industry.

As a Travel Broker I have the time to make sure my customers receive not only the best value for money, but also research and access numerous products. Also there is no need for you to leave the comfort of your own home as I am happy to visit you at a time and place convenient.

Over the years I have travelled extensively and continue to do so each year in order to provide valuable information to my customers from my own experiences.

In 2006 I took a great group of people to Norfolk Island on my first escorted tour. Having enjoyed the experience so much I will be arranging more tours in the future. The great thing about travel is the world is constantly changing and new destinations are still being discovered.
