Kia Ora. My name is Laurie Shearer, and I am a travel broker based in the garden city of Christchurch.

My travel business is leading and designing boutique group tours and I cannot wait to have you join me. You can view my upcoming tours on this site. Please do not hesitate to contact me if they are of interest to you.

I love to travel! Visiting unfamiliar places, experiencing different environments, diverse cultures and trying new foods really fills my cup. I also love to plan! Planning detailed and fun-filled itineraries gives me great joy.

My tours will include some of my many interests such as good food and wine, walking, tramping, yoga, dance, music, history, skiing, cycling, theatre, and sport (in particular tennis!) My aim is for you to return from your tour feeling refreshed and energised.

I am new to the travel industry, having been a family lawyer in New Plymouth for 20 years. I am, however, not new to travel, having grown up with travel agents as parents and having travelled extensively throughout my life. My parents owned their own agency ‘Campbells World Travel’ for 40 years which opened just prior to my birth in 1977. My father has had 55 continuous years as an agent in the travel industry, and his travel knowledge is second to none. Travel has therefore been very much part of my life and is an absolute passion of mine.

I am licensed to operate under The Travel Brokers Limited. They are one of the largest approved TAANZ & IATA accredited Travel Broker networks in New Zealand. The Travel Brokers belong to the helloworld group of travel companies, one of the largest travel companies in Australasia. Being one of the biggest means we have access to many great deals. It also gives us strong relationships with our suppliers, a factor that can be invaluable.
