My name is Dehini Wickramasekara (Dee) and I’m a Senior Travel Specialist at the amazing Award-winning Tasty Tours team under the leadership of Janine Mallon, with Worldwide Travel and Cruise Specialists Jenny Galliven and Prachi Koli rounding up the team. We all share a passion for exploring the world and we love creating memorable travel experiences for our clients.

I have lived in different parts of the world all my life and it has given me wonderful opportunities to embrace cultures and people from all over the world. I was born and brought up in Sri Lanka; a tropical tourism haven in the world and I moved to Guangzhou, China for my higher studies when I was 18 years old. I lived and travelled in China for 6 years. After graduating from the Guangxi Medical University with a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery I went back to Sri Lanka wanting to start a career in tourism simply because of all the amazing travel experiences I had during my student years.

My multilingual skills in English, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi and Sinhala have opened many doors for carrier growth and led me to Dubai, United Arab Emirates where I specialised in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions project management.

I have travelled to China, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Mauritius as a Solo traveller, part of a tour group, a business traveller and as a travel agent. I have over 8 years of experience in designing worldwide travel, operating international corporate events and destination weddings.

At the TAANZ 2018 Awards Tasty Tours won Best Broker Team, The Travel Brokers won Best Broker Brand and has also won the Best Broker Team within The Travel Brokers in 2017 and 2018.
