My name is Joanna Devereux and I have over 22 years experience in the travel industry, although some say I was born with a passion for travel in my blood! I had the privilege of having a father in the airline industry which resulted in spending over half of my childhood living overseas and receiving wonderful opportunities to travel with my family to many exciting destinations. Once out on my own, I gained my BCom from University but there was never really any doubt of the career for me – Travel was it! I began as a retail consultant for Budget Travel, later moving to American Express Travel and most recently Qantas Airways – all the while extending my own travel experience with numerous famils and personal trips. As a result, I have a wealth of experience selling all types including family vacations, quick breaks, group travel, romantic sojourns, cruises, adventure holidays and corporate travel.

Since I became a mother to our three gorgeous daughters, I have gained a personal appreciation of the different demands created by travelling with children. We are lucky to have been able to travel a lot as a family and our trips have each left us with special memories that will last us a lifetime. That is also what I aim to achieve for my clients with their trips. As our girls have grown, I’ve now gained my own experience in the travelling with children at all ages from babies right up to teenagers (and if you thought travelling with a toddler was sometimes tricky, I can tell you that travelling with a teenage girl can be just as testing at times!) Therefore I feel that I’m well equipped to help you plan your ideal family vacation.

I do specialize in family holidays but I’m more than willing and capable to help with all types of travel requests. Whilst I’m based in Wellington, the latest technology enables me to contact my clients from throughout New Zealand and Australia by phone, fax, courier and e-mail.
