I love travel - there’s always somewhere new to explore. Often I’m already thinking about where I’ll take my family on our next journey – even if it’s a year away.
My travel industry career started in the early 1990’s as an Indonesia expert at Bali Travel Service then Asia specialist at Go Holidays advising travel agents on where to send their clients. In 2000 I started my own travel brokerage selling holidays to Bali and then expanded into the rest of Asia and beyond. I’ve won plenty of awards over the years for being one of the high achieving brokers.
When I travel I like to see plenty of hotels. Many of them I won’t even recommend to you, but I still like to see them anyway. I’ll check out the rooms, the restaurant, the bar and pool but most importantly I like to sense the ambiance of the hotel as I know that having a hotel that feels right to me will probably feel right for most kiwis. You’ll find me out walking a lot when I’m in a new town or city so I can understand why and where the best locations to stay are.
I enjoy designing holidays – putting together itineraries that reduce the boring bits so your holiday experience will be more than you’re expecting. I put a lot of thought into planning the best and most efficient routes, selecting the right hotels to suit your requirements and matching any sightseeing to your ‘want to see and do’ list.
I enjoy hearing back from my travellers so please do call me when you’re back. It’s a great way to help me know how I can make your future holidays better as well as for other travellers.
There’s no need to be in the local area to contact me – I have clients from all over New Zealand who book their holidays with me regularly. I’m in the office from 9 – 5 weekdays or if you’d like a face to face consultation we can meet in my home office, your office, home or cafe.
