Catlins Mohua Park
Catlins Mohua Park's - 4 eco cottages are private, set within a tranquil NZ Native bush setting, the cottage offer spacious, king studio units with stunning views over the New Zealand native forest and farm-land. Mohua Park's 14 hectare forest reserve and garden has 9 tracks, lookouts, and picnic seats, which allow guests to explore the varied forest while enjoying the views and abundant birdlife. Mohua Park is 3 km from the start of the Catlins River Track (extended walking, cycling, birding or trout fishing); within 30 minutes drive are the attractions of Nugget Point (rugged coast, yellow eyed penguins); Surat Bay (NZ sealions), Purakaunui Falls, Papatowai (beach and forest), Tautuku Bay; within 1 hour, Cathedral Caves and Curio Bay's petrified forest.
