Undesirable Bodies - Pilar Mata Dupont - 2 Feb - 6 Apr 18
In Undesirable Bodies, Pilar Mata Dupont presents Jirndawurrunha, an area in the Pilbara sacred to the Yindjibarndi people, through stunning images and a major three-screen video installation. A narrative of invasion, colonisation, and conservation unfolds with invasive flora playing protagonists in a tourist economy in tension with this sacred, and hauntingly beautiful, location.

Byron J. Scullin/Supple Fox - Siren Song - 9 - 18 Feb 18
At dawn and dusk, the female voices of Siren Song descend from the sky signalling the arrival and departure of the light each day.
Marking the beginning and end of the Festival’s first ten days the sounds reflect through the canyons of commerce, where the skyscrapers become the concert hall and the city the reverb chamber.
