Day 3: El Port de la Selva – Besalu – Ripoll – Cardona
Climb from the shores of the Costa Brava to the northern mountains. Besalu, a medieval village with Romanesque architecture, makes an intriguing gateway to this rural region. Continue upwards, stopping at Ripoll before arriving in Cardona. (B)

Day 4: Cardona
First up is the remarkable Salt Mountain, where you’ll take an underground tour of one of the world’s most important salt mines. Then enjoy free time in the town centre. Wander ramparts, climb towers, and learn about the dukes of Cardona – known as the ‘kings without crowns’ because of their wealth and power. (B)

Day 5: Cardona – Jaca
Travel through the mountain passes of the Spanish Pyrenees. Soul-stirring views wait around every turn. Arrive in Jaca, known as the ‘Pearl of the Pyrenees’ where you’ll spend the night. (B, D)

Day 6: Jaca – Olite – Pamplona – Laguardia
Explore the medieval town of Olite. Seek out hidden walkways and courtyards before driving to Pamplona. Then, follow the road to Laguardia. (B)

Day 1: Dublin – Belfast
From Dublin, venture to the prehistoric site of Newgrange and visit the Battle of Boyne for an exciting preview of what to expect over the days to come. Arrive in Belfast and enjoy a delicious meal together. (D)

Day 2: Belfast – Londonderry
This morning begins with an escorted Black Cab tour of Belfast’s unique street art, followed by a visit to the Titanic Museum, where you’ll discover the personal stories that surround this fateful ship. Continue to Ballyscullion Park, a historic private country house, where lunch will be served. Explore Ireland’s natural geological wonder – the Giant’s Causeway, before arriving in Londonderry. Day 3: Londonderry – North Irish Coast – Londonderry
Stroll along the old city walls of Londonderry and then continue the journey to the Isle of Doagh and learn of the local population’s experience of the devastating Irish Famine. (B)

Day 4: Londonderry – Ballyfarnon
More fascinating history is on the cards today at the Ulster- American Folk Park. Enjoy a pottery demonstration before the day ends in Ballyfarnon, then regroup for an evening meal together. (B, D)

Day 5: Ballyfarnon – Connemara – Galway
Start the morning in Westport before visiting the award- winning Connemara Heritage Centre to gain a unique insight into Ireland’s past. Complete your journey with a walking tour through the harbour city of Galway. (B)

Enjoy today as you wish in buzzing, bohemian Galway. (B)

Day 7: Galway – the Burren – Dingle
View the picturesque area of Caherconnell and witness local sheepdog trials in action. Continue across the Burren and conclude the day with a visit to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher, rising high above the Atlantic. (B, D)

Day 8: Dingle Peninsula
Begin the day in south-west Ireland’s jewel in the crown – the Dingle Peninsula, before stopping off at the Blasket Islands Centre. The afternoon allows plenty of time to delve deeper and explore Dingle on your own. (B)

Day 9: Dingle – Kenmare – Blarney

Introducing Siena: a gorgeous Gothic city bursting with fabulous architecture. After exploring the old centre, venture to your villa in the world-renowned Chianti region. (B, D).

Day 3: Tuscany
Learn a few secrets of Italian cooking today, as a classic rustic Tuscan lunch is prepared. The afternoon is free to relax. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Tuscany – Florence – Lucca
Most of the day will be spent in Florence – birthplace of the Renaissance and home to the world’s most treasured masterpieces. Stroll through the streets on a walking tour with a local guide. Continue on to Lucca. (B)

Day 5: Lucca – Pisa – Lucca
You’ll visit an Italian icon today – the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Return back to Lucca in the afternoon and explore the town at your own pace. (B)

Day 6: Lucca – Camogli – San Fruttuoso – Portofino – Santa Margherita Ligure
Experience the glitz and glamour of the Italian Riviera. Visit Camogli, San Fruttuoso and Portofino, before settling in Santa Margherita Ligure. Enjoy an evening at your own pace strolling along the beachfront. (B)

Day 7: Santa Margherita Ligure – Barolo – Cherasco
Travel inland to Piedmont, a region of rich red wines and luxurious cuisine. The first stop is Grinzane Cavour Castle for a wine tasting, before driving near the village of Barolo, where you go on a truffle hunt with a local farmer. This is followed by a sumptuous slow-food dinner in Cherasco. (B, D)

Day 8: Cherasco– Asti – Lake Orta – Lake Maggiore
Sip regional liquors in Asti, complemented by hand-made nougat. Head for the hills, pristine lakes and soaring mountains of northern Italy. Lake Maggiore marks the magnificent final stop of the day’s journey. (B)

Day 9: Lake Maggiore
Leaving dry land behind for the day, head for the Borromean Islands. Wander the terraces of the ornate Baroque Garden on Isola Bella and discover the pretty harbour of Isola dei Pescatori. The rest of the day is free to relax. (B)

Day 10: Lake Maggiore – Lecco – Tirano
Bidding farewell to Lake Maggiore, and discover the sights of Lecco before reaching Tirano for a wine tasting session. Meet for dinner at a local restaurant to continue the culinary adventure. (B, D)

Day 2: Dartmoor National Park – Port Isaac – Padstow – Falmouth
Leave Dartmoor for the sheer cliffs of Cornwall’s northern coast. Stroll around Port Isaac, the fishing village made famous by television series, Doc Martin. Then enjoy a leisurely lunch at ‘The Seafood Restaurant’ – Rick Stein’s flagship restaurant in Padstow. End the day in Falmouth. (B, L)

Day 3: Falmouth – St Michael’s Mount – St Ives – Falmouth
