10 Night Italy Encompassed Tour
Day 1: Rome
Upon arrival into Rome airport or rail station, transfer to the hotel. Spend the next three nights in Rome.
Day 2: Rome
Discover Imperial Rome on a group tour, including the Forum and the magnificent Colosseum. The rest of the day is free to explore the city.
Day 3: Rome
A full day excursion from Rome to explore Naples and the archaeological site of Pompeii. Enjoy a walking tour of the historic centre of Naples. After lunch, take in a guided visit of Pompeii. Return to Rome by coach.
Day 4: Rome to Florence
Independent transfer to Rome rail station where you will board your high-speed train to Florence. Self transfer to your hotel in Florence and enjoy a free day exploring the city. Stay the next two nights in Florence.
Day 5: Florence and surrounds
Full day tour or the Chianti area. Visit the medieval town of Monteriggioni, take in the infamous sites of Siena and the walled town of San Gimignano. The tour continues into the Chianti area for a wine tasting experience. Return to Florence in the evening.
Day 6: Florence to La Spezia
Travel by train to La Spezia. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore La Spezia, nearby town of Portovenere or Cinque Terre. Stay the next two nights in La Spezia.
Day 7: Le Cinque Terre
Visit the villages and coastline of Cinque Terre with your "Cinque Terre Card & Train". Return to La Spezia in the evening.
Day 8: La Spezia to Milan
Train from La Spezia to Milan. Free afternoon to visit Milan at your own pace. Stay the next two nights in Milan.
Day 9: Milan, Lake Como and Bellagio
Discover Lake Como and visit the town's historic centre. Take a panoramic cruise on the lake to the village of Bellagio, with its lakeside villas. Enjoy a coffee or gelato in one of the lively cafe's, housed in grand buildings. Then, take a cruise to Cadenabbia and back to your coach for the return to Milan.
Day 10: Milan to Venice
Take the high-speed train to Venice and have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Venice.
Day 11: Venice
End of the tour.
